LIDS is located in MIT's Building 32, also called the Stata Center:
The entrance pictured above is the one closest to LIDS.
It is on Vassar Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Main Street, but much closer to Main Street.
LIDS offices are on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the Dreyfoos Tower.
Above the 4th floor, the Stata Center splits into two towers: Gates and Dreyfoos. Only the Dreyfoos Tower elevators will take you to LIDS. (The Gates elevators, located at the other end of the building, will take you to a different lab.)
These are the Dreyfoos Tower elevators:
Directions to LIDS Headquarters:
To get to LIDS Headquarters, take the Dreyfoos Tower elevators (pictured above) to the 6th floor. On exiting the elevator, go straight through the double doors on the far left and make your immediate left. The headquarters suite is at the end of the hallway.
What to do if you come into Stata from a different entrance:
If you come into the Stata Center from the entraces at the corner of Vassar and Main Streets, you will see this when you enter the building:
You may also find your way into Stata from the North Court.
From either of these entrances you will need to walk to the other end of the building to get to the Dreyfoos Tower elevators. There are signs to point the way:
We look forward to seeing you!
